Shiseido Pure Yoga Outdoor Event

My favourite way to do yoga is to go out to some beautiful place in nature where I can forget about time, clear my mind and just concentrate on my breathing.

I was glad to get out of the yoga studio on that Saturday for a morning stretch with Pure Yoga & Shiseido in celebration of White Lucent 10 Bright Years!  Mum is a member of Shiseido so I was glad to jump onto the chance when they sent us the invitation.

Made my way to Botanic Garden at 6.30am and was greeted by the lovely sunrise.

It was the first time I am at the park that early and I was overwhelmed at the amount of people doing exercise at that hour on a weekend! It was the perfect place to run with the right amount of upslope and greenery if not for the far distance to the venue.

Took 40 minutes to walk through Botanic Garden to reach Swan Lake. I was sweating by the time I reached there. Still, it's a good warm-up exercise and the scenery made up for it.
Spotted a beautiful couple at the pavilion taking their wedding shots as well.

Swan Lake.

Finally at the venue and we were greeted by the yoga mats laid on the ground. And yes, this was pre-haze.

With my yoga partner, Caddie and her passion for yoga is extremely motivating!

Shiseido gave us some skincare products which includes their powerful sunblock, toner, moisturiser and a face-mask. It came in handy before my trip as well and I really like the products as they are gentle on the skin.

The yoga event lasted for an hour under the sky, led by the Pure Yoga Instructors. Picture credited to Shiseido's FB and we looked extremely zen while meditating haha!

Felt really refreshed after the morning stretch despite the lack of sleep (what's new) and it was good seeing kids ditch their ipads to run around, with some climbing trees even.

Thanks for the invitation! ;)

Yoga is a never-ending pursuit which will feel new each time you practice. There is no pose that is done to perfection as there are still many variations/modifications to the poses which make yoga interesting. I'm still trying to work on many poses and it takes time. Still, it feels really good to find that you are making improvement bit by bit.  Also, never over-stretch and listen to your body to prevent injuries. Best of all, it can be done at home indoors! :)

Missing the outdoor activities and I'm going to stick to the gym & treadmill for one week at least. Health is wealth!
